Every year Tons of viable caterered, often times, gourmet food is thrown into the trash. Catrerers, Convention Hall, Hotels, Convience Stores, Colleges, and others simple waste an incredible resoirce that could bring the numbers of food insecure down dramatically.
In three short years we have served over 108,000 meals and distributed them to ministries that provide services for a range of needs from substance abuse, speech and education and job traing, the Homeless, as well as trafficked and displaced children to name a few. It is our honor to be in a position to support the people in these communities of need doing these vital services every day.
Our goal is to establish an unfettered access to service by collecting food in neighborhoods of need. This will lower food insecurity and create a community of collaberation.
Every dollar you donate provides viable resources to those in need.
Hunger has a number, and the number is ONE. If we can lift one child out of food insecurity today, we have succeeded. Join us in the creation of a pragmatic, attainable, and sustainable model to combat food insecurity in Nashville – Hunger has another number ONE: every church (regardless of denomination), every well-intention-ed good Samaritan, college and high school student, volunteers from every race, color, and creed. Join Care Kitchen Outreach in creating a model that will come alongside the many food organizations working hard to address food insecurity in Nashville and Middle Tennessee. Give hope and help to the hundreds of thousands of men, woman, and children that are going hungry daily.
Care Kitchen Outreach is not just a Non-Profit business model attempting a posture of efficiency, but rather a few people privileged to serve and give honor to those in need and by doing so
Praise the Lord that set us in motion. The CKO motto is “Sharing Gods Love by Showing God’s Love to the least, the last, and the lost in Nashville and Middle Tennessee.” Love is an action.

It is always a good time to pray, and it is often necessary to meet, but it is even more
important to move. Nashville does not have a food shortage – rather it has a food rescue
and redistribution challenge.
